Period One Double Service Rig
The CBIP1D(Courtney Berg Industries Period One Double) allows the service rig company the option to do work when no other rigs are allowed on the road. It provides the service rig company the ability to service more wells with the same rig because of their ability to have more calendar days to access the well site. Courtney Berg Industries along with Sparta Engineering have designed and engineered a working rig that will allow for full dresssed weights to be under period one levels. With the Finite Analysis software, Cosmos, Sparta has been able to meet and surpass API rates for API 4F while still allowing for a 200,000 lb hook load and period one weights with a complete FREE STANDING PACKAGE.

Our goal is to provide our customer with an additional service to the end user which is:
  • Period One Weights
  • Free Standing
  • Less Ground Disturbance
  • A longer envelope of the calander year to use the rig and service the customer
